my final words as a 6A student

The end is nearing - all too soon.Oh how I wish to go on more excursions with my friends ,play more games , represent my school in more competitions and enjoy primary school life even more.Certainly I would miss my classmates , ESPS,Mr teo's mass lectures( maybe) but I would especially my best friends and teachers !!! Although i am despondent , I am excited about going to a new school and meeting new people.I believe that ESPS has nurtured me into a better person. I am going to miss all of you ! All the best!!!!!

1 thing I will remember about this year

1 thing I will remember about this year......That's going to be difficult.Well there are (and will be)soooo many things I will remember about this year because every single experience is unforgettable. There are so many. Some examples are such as the upcoming PSLE exams,my grandfather's first death anniversary and my birthday. these are only some of the examples.
if it has to be one,I would have to say it would be my paternal grandfather's first death anniversary. It was held last Saturday according to the Tamil calendar. My parents stayed at my grandma's house for that day.We went there and had loads of fun with our cousins. The priest was extremely late . Two hours in fact. Meaning that my cousin and I had 2 whole glorious hours of talking nonsense, playing a fool and catching up with each other's events and going on's.When the priest came all the laughter died.We stood quietly upon the priest's arrival he was about to start the prayers. After some time my cousin began to get restless. She is studying in sec 2 by the way.We went to watch a movie.someone knocked on the door.It was my mum.We were busted!!!!!!!After the prayers we had a feast .We had an empty feeling in our hearts.Something was missing. It was our grandfather. We really hope that he's soul rest's in peace.

Total Defence

Although we are just chidren ,we also have a part in total defence.Every year we celebrate total defence to remind singaporeans about it.The five defences are Civil,Economical,Military,Psychological and Social defence.

When all Singaporeans take personal responsibility for and get involved in the defence of Singapore, we are playing our part to help keep Singapore safe and secure.

As children we should be friendly to every one from different races and religions and always lend a hand to fellow singaporeans in times of need.We can also volunteer in civil defence exercises. We have to be vigilant and alert at all times and it teaches us what to do during civil emergencies.
For example,if we see a strange bag under a bus seat and it does not belong to any passengers on the bus, we have to alert the bus driver immediately. The bag may contain a bomb or it may simply be someone's who had already had alighted from the bus.In psychological defence we should have pride in, and being loyal and committed to our country. We should also have the will, resolve and resilience to overcome challenges and should be prepared for anything.
When we, Singaporeans take personal responsibility for and get involved in the defence of Singapore, we are playing our part to help keep Singapore safe and secure. A strong Total Defence will benefit not only the country but also each individual as whatever happens to Singapore will affect the lives of Singaporeans.

Follow your heart

When I heard 'follow your heart' I imagined a girl standing by herself along the shore watching the moon set.She looked like she was deep in thought.Calm rippling water washed against her feet .She was oblivious to her surroundings. She seemed to be lost,in her thoughts thinking deeply.

My final words as a 5A student

I feel very proud to be a 5A student.I am despondent as the year is coming to an end.All my classmates have an ever ready smile on their face(at least most of the time). There always fun to be with. They are the most polite, friendly and humble classmates to be with!!!!!!

My form teacher, Ms Lee is the best form teacher. She has thought us many things through. She always makes us laugh and makes lessons very enjoyable. When we are down she encourages us.I hope that she will also be my form teacher next year too!!!!!!!!!!
